This began life as a an almost National Geographic style set of notes on the tribal behaviour of the Tingaket and was quickly re-jigged when the FWU Myths and Fables comp' appeared... which I entered. It probably owes a great deal to both my researches into the stories surrounding Lilit,Lilith,Lilitu, several horrific article in the observer, a late night showing of a western horror, and Neil Gaiman's one off Sandman tale based around a similar theme... hopefully there is enough original stuff in here to distance it from the latter...
