Stained fate 10

Enshii awoke, for some reason he felt tired, but not just early-morning-tired, full blown oh-crap-i-haven't-slept-for-six-days tired, even though he had been sleeping almost regularly.

It had been two months since he fell to earth yet the other residents of the house knew almost nothing about his previous life, to Kyoko, the landlord, he was just a boy that turned up on the streets, to Kaori, the landlord's daughter, he was an Ex-ANGel from the Gunslinger division.

"Good morning Enshii" Kyoko said as she was cooking

"Morning Kyoko-san" He replied (sorry, I seriously can't resist) Kaori walked down the stairs grabbed Enshii by the back of the collar, turned him around and pushed him up the stair into her room, Kyoko just threw a disturbed look in there general direction, and continued cooking.

"I realised last night that, to get into the port in the first place, you would have had to die first!" Kaori half stated and half asked, Enshii seemed like he wasn't paying attention, he looked around the room then said, "I've never been in your room before, its quite… pink"

"Have you even been listening to me!!?" Kaori exclaimed

"Yes, I did die, but the details are quite depressing, I don't really wanna get into it" Enshii explained

"Spill it" Kaori commanded

"I really don't want to talk about my previous…"

"Do it or I'll tell my mother you're an angel."

"Touché, ok, I was leading a good life until, at the age of 15, my mother was killed at home, while I was out, also, I had no siblings and my farther had left when I was a mere six years old, later that week, I lost focus walking home, and caused a fatal car crash, luckily, I checked the ANGel records, and I was the only one to die from that accident"

"Where did you live?" Kaori asked, listening intently

"Sweden, yet I always wanted to live in Tokyo, seems I got my wish."

They where silent for a second, Enshii suspected Kaori was crying, as she was looking down and covering her face

"Need a hug?" Enshii asked, Kaori shook her head

"Ok, well, I need to get to work"

A month beforehand Enshii had got a job at café a few blocks down the road from his home, as soon as the girls in his class got word, the amount of female customers increased by 60%, He had also joined the schools Marksman club, and upon the first day, was recognised as the best shot in the school, the female spectators had increased there also, yet Enshii took no notice, mostly because of the fact that non of the girls had actually tried talking to him yet, 'but you never know' He thought 'Only time will tell'

Enshii and Kaori where sitting on the roof of the apartment building, its was night and Kyoko was presumed asleep, otherwise they wouldn't be on the roof.

"To tell you the truth, I've never done this before" Kaori said breaking the silence

"Obviously. Your not enough of a delinquent, I used to do this a lot in Sweden, but the view was never this spectacular" Enshii said as he stared over Tokyo, the lights glowed all over the city

"This is why I wanted to live here, I love the idea of a big city, and not just any normal city, a Metropolis." Enshii said as he lay flat on the roof to look at the sky

"There's a lot less stars however" He stated, sounding a little disappointed

"Tell me more about Heaven" Kaori started, "Does God exist?"

"Who?" Enshii replied

"You know, God, Buddha, an 'entity', do they exist?"

"God… God?.. Oh!!! Ha ha ha!" Enshii burst out into laughter

"What?" Kaori asked, after Enshii stopped laughing he continued on

"God in that sense does not exist, but the thing that runs Heaven and contains all the data to keep the earth working is called the G.O.D, the Global Ordinance Device, its basically a giant translucent-black crystal witch is centred in the biggest computer you will ever see, the computer actually holds every single algorithm that keeps 'nature' working, the only thing it doesn't contain is how life works, that is the only thing controlled by the spirits, that's why everyone only lives twice, once down here, and once ether up there or further down here." After a few second of comprehension, Kaori spoke

"Do you leave every convocation on a dark note?" She said

"Most" He replied

Morning – The next day

A knock came to Enshii's door; no doubt it was Kaori, receiving no reply the door opened

"Enshii, get up its morning" she said, Enshii pulled the bedclothes over his head and said

"Kaori, if you haven't already noticed, we don't have school on Sunday"

"I know, were going for a walk" Kaori said

"Oh, ok cya" Enshii replied

"No, Me and you"

"Where and why?"

"As smart as ever I see, to the mall, your gonna help me pick cloths" Kaori said

"And when did I agree to become a slave?" Enshii frowned

"When you didn't pay rent last week, now get up" Kaori said as she turned around in the doorway

"Touché" Enshii said as he dragged himself out of bed and pulled on some cloths
